"Click" the Movie

Damn bored today... so decided to search the stack of DVDs which stay on my cabinet for long time...
hmmm... "Click" ... looks like a fun movie... well... just relax and watch it.

To my surprise, it's so entertaining and yet inspiring!!
I just wanna ask you "when was the last time you tell your dad and mum you love them?"

The movie "La Vie En Rose"

Just finished watching this movie. Indeed, it's quite interesting movie.

The film presents a fractured and largely non-linear series of key events from the life of Édith Piaf. Although scenes often jump back and forth across decades (evoked as flashbacks mostly from within Edith's memories), parts of her childhood take up much of the first part, and the movie ends with her death, and the performance of what is perhaps her signature song, "Non, je ne regrette rien".

After watching, the feeling is kind of complicated and heavy. Maybe the movie indeed is a emotionally complicated one. And the life of Edith Piaf is also indeed a "colorful" one.

Ironically, the reason why I watched this movie is because my phone ringing tone is "La Vie En Rose". And the version of mp3 I have is a so cheerful, lively.

From the bottom my heart, I seem like I can feel what Edith Piaf feels, see what she sees, live what she lives. The feeling is like... I don't know how to put down into words.

Well, simply I would say, what a life of Edith Piaf.

Pierre Dulaine

The message is still the same. The children learn ballroom dancing, yes; but the real thing they are learning are the transferable skills of decorum, etiquette, being polite with each other, respect, dignity. All of these things they are learning when they really need them, so I had no qualms with it being changed to high school. I don't really care if you're a 10-year old or 17-year old (that) when you're 25 that you remember the steps, but the transferable skills of being polite and knowing how to treat another human being is what my message is all about.

What a tiring day... not expected to watch so late movie.. but.. no choice, my housemates already bought the tickets.. so.. just watch lor.
hmmm.. from the poster of "Blood Diamond", it looks like a normal war-alike movie.. should not be that interesting..
However, I was wrong...

Set against the backdrop of the chaos and civil war that enveloped 1990s Sierra Leone, "Blood Diamond" is the story of Danny Archer (Leonardo DiCaprio), an ex-mercenary from Zimbabwe, and Solomon Vandy (Djimon Hounsou), a Mende fisherman. Both men are African, but their histories and their circumstances are as different as any can be until their fates become joined in a common quest to recover a rare pink diamond, the kind of stone that can transform a life...or end it.

Thru this movie, I started to realize that I've kind of forgotten how to be grateful of what I own right now.. I've a job, a place to stay, a family, and many many.
I should not take it for granted.. I guess everyone knows this.. but how many truthly understand that ??

In short, I just wanna say..
Be grateful of what u have.
Dun take things for granted.
And start giving to someone who is less fortunate..
as giving is blessing.
